ENCHANTMENT
April 22 - 24, 2022
The Cowles Center - Goodale Theater
528 Hennepin Avenue
Minneapolis, MN
A mystery reigns: Twelve beautiful, obedient princesses awake each morning with energies destroyed. The king is in a quandary. Is it a harmless enchantment? Or something bewitchingly dark and dangerous? Based on the original fairy tale “Twelve Dancing Princesses,” Enchantment is a neoclassical story ballet that explores deeper themes that resonate in today’s world.
Enchantment once again comes to life April 22-24, 2022, at the Cowles Center. Enchantment premiered in 2006, and features original choreography by Lise Houlton and a musical score arranged by composer/pianist Tom Linker, who weaves his own compositions into Czech composer Leoš Janáček’s piano sonatas and Idyll Suite for Strings.
Tickets ($31-$36) are available at thecowlecenter.org.
